There's No Place like Home...with your dogs!

My Love of Dogs...

Dogs have always been a huge part of my life, and continue to be so.

Between us, my husband and I have five Working Cocker Spaniels; Bluebell, Buzz, Bruck, Binky & Berin who we compete with in agility.

My boy, Buzz, is Grade 7, and is the gentlest of souls and my most faithful companion. He was also the official school dog at my last school and brought much joy to those children who couldn't have a dog of their own. My young dog Binky, is just starting out on her agility journey and is proving to be just as amazing as her uncle Buzz!

After 25 years of teaching, I decided to have a complete change of career and followed my passion to work with dogs. This led me to embark on an OCN Level 3 Diploma in dog grooming, which I passed with distinction. Following this we built a bespoke grooming cabin in our garden and the dream of working from home became a reality!

Being around dogs all my life, gave me a great knowledge base with which to draw upon when grooming. Every dog is unique and brings with it its own personality traits. Through 1 to 1 grooming, you are able to get to know these and work with every dog at their level.

I also have first hand experience of dealing with anxious and nervous dogs, and have developed many techniques and strategies to make them feel as comfortable and safe as possible in the grooming environment.

I pride myself on being a kind, caring and compassionate groomer and love is certainly at the heart of all I do.
